Leaving dA
Hello for the first time in a long time, and also for the last.
Okay, that was a tad overdramatic, but I honestly don’t really know how to start this journal. It was my intention to write something to let you all know that I’m leaving dA, but you’ve probably noticed that I’ve already been gone for a really long time, so this is me awkwardly dropping in to let you know that I’ve been gone and plan to stay gone.
Most importantly, I’m asking you not to worry about me. I’m aware that my absence has caused a few people some concern. I’m touched to know that I have watchers that genuinely care that much about me, and it certainly wasn’t my intention to cause anyone any trouble by neglecting this account. I didn’t even completely mean to abandon dA in the first place. Over time I just stopped coming to the website as habitually as I used to, and then not at all. Out of sight out of mind I guess.
But recently I’ve been motivated to officially end my activity here, which is why I’m writing this journal. I’ve decided against deactivating this account (even though my old art is embarrassing for me to look at, I want it to be available for others who can enjoy it), but I will not be posting or commenting here anymore.
For those of you who want to see art things I’ve posted since unofficially leaving and things I might post in the future, you can follow me on my tumblr, if you’re into that sort of thing. It’s not strictly an art blog, so following would mean putting up with all my other shit too, but hey, that’s your decision. My art tag is “cotton art.”
And yes, for those of you wondering about my nuzlocke run, I’ve discontinued that as well, and don’t see myself picking it up any time in the future. For those of you who had been following that, thank you for reading my little comic. I don’t want to leave you hanging plot-wise, so I will include some highlights from the remaining story here. If you have anything else you really, REALLY need to know about the story, you can private message me on tumblr. I won’t respond to any more messages on dA.
Lastly, thank you. You’ve all made my experience on this site a positive one.
Commissions Open
-I will accept mostly everything, but I retain the right to refuse anything. Not that I think that I'll have to. I'd rather not draw anything nsfw, but I could be persuaded if you're willing to pony up big time.
-If you'd like to commission me, please send me a note detailing what you want drawn. Once I accept the commission, we work out the details, and settle on a price, please make your payment. (See payment section below.)
-It shouldn't take more than a couple of days for me to finish your commission, but of course unexpected events may always arise. When I finish your commission, I'll upload it and send it to you via email.
Prices:
$3 for bust or waist up sketch per any character (digital or traditional)
$5 for fullbody sketch per any character (digital or traditional)
$6 for bust or waist up completed and colored character (digital or traditional)
$10 for completed and colored fullbody character (digital or traditional)
Backgrounds:
No background/flat color backgrounds are free (digital and traditional)
Traditionally done full scene backgrounds will cost an additional $7.
Digitally done full scene backgrounds will cost an additional $7.
This is a rule of thumb, but if you want a background done, please note me describing what you want in case I need to adjust the price.

It's likely that I've overlooked something, so if you have any questions, comment or note me. If it's something major that I've overlooked, I'll update this journal.
And yeah, I guess that's all I have to say. The last journal I'd written was in February. That seems like a really long time ago. Maybe I should write these more often? Just so that I don't have the same thing on my page all the time?
