Description

So this is an art class-related painting I'm working on, and it would be SUPER HELPFUL TO GET SOME CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM! SERIOUSLY CRITICISM IS REQUIRED FOR MY GRADE!

Anywho, we're taking a Chuck Close approach to this project, which means griding a photo and painting square by square. Also, my teacher is making us paint it upside-down.

My advice: use a pencil, really lightly, to do the outlines, grid by grid, so you can fix them if you mess up. That way when you paint, you won't have to worry about major problems.
Because, as a user of the grid method, I can tell you: you WILL make mistakes. Big ones, occasionally. And then it's a pain in the ass to fix if it's paint.

Your values are good.
Your proportions are good.
Your painting style is good.

but you WILL make mistakes. Best to catch them early.
